Windsor WoodCare is a locally owned and operated company specializing in the restoration and refinishing of exterior wood. We are not a typical "Power Washing" company. Windsor WoodCare does not clean concrete, flush gutters, or wash houses. We do no fleet washing, kitchen exhaust cleaning, graffiti removal, or roof restoration. We do not paint homes. Windsor WoodCare enhances the appearance and protects exterior wood.
Wood is different. Yes, we own and often use pressure washers. But just as a sauce pan
serves a master chef, a pressure washer is merely one tool of many used to efficiently
prepare wood to accept a stain. And a dangerous tool at that.
Water pressure in
untrained hands can cause severe damage to wood and personal injury. What works on
concrete or vinyl siding is certainly not appropriate for wood. In fact, for our
customers wishing to maintain their restored wood themselves, we strongly
discourage the use of a pressure washer. It is not needed.
